领事认证一般需要经过3个部分的认证，贸促会认证（或公证处公证），外交部认证，领事馆认证。第一步就是办理贸促会认证，把需要办理的主材料做成国际商事证明书，这个一般都在当地贸促会办理。（ps:如果是CO就做成产地证形式）。

如果是个人民事类材料办理使馆双认证、出国双认证，需要到公证处办理好相应材料的公证书，经常办理的民事类材料类型有：出生、亲属关系、无犯罪、结婚、学历、学位、成绩单、未婚、单身、婚姻状况、健康证明、工作证明、工作经历、职业资格、成绩单、委托书、护照、离婚未再婚等等。
第一步先到当地公证处办理好相关材料的公证书，不同国家对公证书译文要求是不一样的，办理之前请先跟公证处说明。办理公证书一般需要5-8个工作日左右，具体时间以当地公证处时间为准，该时间仅供参考。
第二步办理好的公证书开始做外交部认证，这个一般在当地外事办或者外交部办理，外交部认证一般在公证书材料最后一页背面上方位置，一般需要3个工作日左右。
第三步办理领事馆认证（大使馆认证），领馆认证一般在外交部认证的下方位置，至此民事公证书办理领事双认证整个流程已经完成。另外领馆认证的时间是根据具体国家来定的，每个国家的驻华使馆认证时间是不一样，有的几天就够了，有的要1个多月，建议提前安排好时间办理。
